The Luau album has 45 minutes of tribal drums together with fire crackling sounds and beach waves sounds. It is embedded with 4.5 Hz Theta brainwave pulses.

External rhythms like drumming can influence the body's own internal rhythms. Rhythm has been used for thousands of years as a means to create and maintain health and well being. When these rhythms are administered correctly, they may be used to affect the emotions, pain levels, nervous system and organ function. This technique has been used for thousands of years to treat a variety of conditions. When the brain is presented with a rhythmic stimulus like drums or light pulses, the rhythm is reflected in the brain. If the rhythm becomes consistent enough, it can start to resemble the natural internal rhythms of the brain, called brainwaves. When this happens, the brain responds by synchronizing its own electric cycles to the same rhythm. This is commonly called the Frequency Following Response.
