There are many things that parents can do to help their babies feel like they are back in the comfort of the womb. The White Noise For Babies album has three tracks of pure white noise sound together with relaxing sounds of nature (soothing water, gentle rain and calming wind).

What is white noise?

White noise is a combination of all of the different frequencies of sound. Like the color white, which is made up of all colors of the light spectrum, white noise is made up of all frequencies on the sound spectrum. Examples of white noise include the sound of ocean waves, a rain shower, a waterfall, the wind blowing through the trees and the hum of a fan.

The white noise has the special ability to soothe tired and upset babies. It is well known that many sounds such as the hum of a fan or a hairdryer have the ability to calm a crying baby. This is because they simulate the noises heard in the womb and remind the baby of the state it was in before it entered the world. Before or after birth, sound has shown itself to be a very powerful force in the lives of the babies, whether stimulating the growth of the fetus or calming and quieting the newborn.
